Municipal Designs
Most municipal buildings are designed
with a committee and have critical public oversight. In addition,
they often involve the expenditures of large amounts of public
funds. For these projects it is important that the architect
be a leader and a listener. With so many opinions being available,
it is often necessary for the architect to design a procedure
for the process before any building design work is begun.
In this way everyone may be heard and a reasonable set of
decisions can be made. The building design must reflect these
decisions while creating the image that matches the client's
expectations, and all this must be accomplished within the
funding limitations.
